Annual Pembroke Kiwanis Music Festival started in 1949. The Kiwanis Festival runs for three weeks in February and March at Festival Hall in Pembroke with performances in piano, voice, strings, instrumental, and dance. A wrap up Festival of the Star Concert is held in March to show case the highest scoring performers and for awarding the trophies and metals. As well as the Kiwanians on the Committee, Su Fisher is the Secretary of the Committee, Sue Seto is the Treasurer and Paula Lundrigan is a member. |
